Transaction summary

AMSTERDAM, May 2024 - Active Capital Company (“ACC”) and E-Capital have sold their shares in the international mercury- and NORM contaminated waste specialist BMT Mercury Technology (“BMT”) to REMONDIS Industrie Service (“REMONDIS”). BMT’s facilities are located in Farmsum (Netherlands) and Bangpoo (Thailand) and its customers consist primarily of major oil and gas companies. Both shareholders originally acquired their shares in 2013 and supported the company’s professionalization and international growth in order to meet market demand. The acquisition enables REMONDIS to further grow as a full-service provider in hazardous waste management.
